About Us

At First Joinery, we provide professional carpentry and joinery services across all areas of London. We take pride in delivering high-quality work — no matter the size or complexity of the project.

We specialise in both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, covering everything from structural work like stud walls, joists, and flooring to the finer details such as doors, skirting, and architraves.

We also offer fully bespoke joinery, tailored to each client’s space and style — from custom kitchens and fitted wardrobes to alcove units, storage solutions, and one-off interior pieces.

We take on both residential projects across all London boroughs. So whether it’s a full renovation or a smaller job, get in touch — we’d love to hear your ideas and help bring them to life.

Services

  • Typically fitted into the alcoves either side of a chimney breast, they provide extra storage space and are a great way to hide unsightly cables and sockets.

  • Usually fitted into alcoves but can also cover a blank wall offering plenty of hanging and shelving space.

    Top boxes add further storage for non essential items.

  • Whether it’s a traditional bookcase sitting on top of an alcove cabinet or the ever popular floating shelves which are fitted into an alcove or part of a feature wall.

  • All 1st & 2nd fix carpentry covering everything from structural work like stud walls and flooring, to the finer details — doors, skirting, architraves, and finishes.
